All of these questions should be answered to your satisfaction. Several large companies have entered into the security business by acquiring smaller companies and have no experience servicing this very specialized industry. Mass marketing free (leased) basic systems is becoming their desired way of finding new customers. In this as in any industry you normally get exactly what you pay for. If a system is leased and you do not like the service you are receiving you cannot cancel and go somewhere else without costly penalties. This is not like having painting done where you never have to deal with the company again if your not satisfied.
